Hoy en la mañana, cuando entro a mi blog veo un comentario anónimo del post “De Regreso a la Ciudad” publicado el pasado lunes 19 de febrero, en el cual me explica que vió en otro blog la imagen que YO le tomé al fogon de leña de mi tía Marcela con la cámara de mi telefono Motorola V3. La persona que me dejó el comentario no me dice la dirección del blog, pero por las referencias no me fué muy dificil localizarlo. Resulta quel periodista y cronista Milcíades Pichardo en su blog “Cotuí al Desnudo“, publica un post llamado “El Fogón o la Jonaya de mi Abuela” en el cual publica una foto de mi propiedad diciendo que “Encontró esta imagen en un campo de una comunidad cotuisana” sin pedirme permiso ni hacer ninguna referencia a mi blog ó a mi nombre.
Que alguien me explique por favor, ¿Cómo es posible que un periodista, los que abogan por que no se les haga plagio de información, los que luchan para que se les dé credito a su trabajo y se les respete su derecho de autor haga esto?. No quiero hacer de esto un melo drama ni nada por el estilo, no sé cómo seran las cosas en el medio periodistico, pero quiero recordarle al sr. Milcíades Pichardo, que aquí en la red las cosas son muy diferentes. Los bloggers tenemos por norma cuando sacamos algun texto ó imagen de otro blog u otra página, hacer referencia al link de donde extraimos la informacion, y darle su crédito al autor, no es correcto beneficiarse del trabajo de otra persona. Desde hoy, instalo mi licencia de “Creative Commons” para proteger toda la información, ya sea escrita o grafica, que publico en mi blog, les exhorto a ustedes que hagan lo mismo.

Update: El Sr. Milciades Pichardo se ha disculpado en su post “Mis Excusas a Demetrix por la Foto del Fogón“. Quise hacer la nota porque he visto varios bloggers que se han quejado de la situación, y ahora me tocó a mi. Acepto las disculpas del Sr. Milcíades Pichardo, pues como dije en este mismo post mi intencion no es hacer un show de esto, sino que las personas vayan tomando consciencia, por esa razón dejo el post como referencia.
